So Ozzie got a chip – I knew it would happen.
Actually I heard about this from three or so sources almost simultaneously. His stuff was too cool to not have it become part of a core platform somewhere along the line and its going to be exciting to see what kind of ideas Ozzie has about application construction with Groove being so modular and extensible.
Over the next few years Microsoft is going to be facing an onslaught from products such as Open Office (on and off Windows), and its not just going to be who has the best mail merge features that wins.
