Over the weekend my machine automatically downloaded and installed some security patches from Microsoft (as I had instructed it to do when I setup the machine). The problem is, I am running a pre-release build of Internet Explorer 7.0 (7.0.5296.0) and it didn’t like whatever the patch did.
Now I am lucky to be able to browse for thirty seconds before Internet Explorer crashes with the following error:
Looks like I am going to be rebuilding my machine. To improve stability I am probably going to run with a pre-release build of Windows Vista . . .
