Greg and I are trying to get the word out about Code Camp Oz 2006. At the moment we have seventy-five people who have registered for the event – last year we had around three hundred people register for the event and about two hundred and twenty attended (a fairly large attrition ratio is common for free community events, so we were lucky).

Anyway – as you can see we still have a little way to go before we lofty heights of three hundred registrations – so we need your help. If you are attending Code Camp Oz (or even if you are not) look around your office and see if there are any developers that you think would enjoy attending a fairly meaty technical event.

The event itself will be held on the 23rd and 24th of April in Wagga Wagga so you can use the Saturday (22nd) and the Tuesday (25th) to travel. If you want to attend the ANZAC services then Wagga Wagga is actually a good place to be.

There is no cost for attending the event but you do need to take care of your own travel and accomodation expenses. You can get all the details at the Code Camp Oz site.
