We have two fairly large CVS and Subversion repositories that contain our curriculum and various other assorted items. Thats why I was interested to discover today that Component Software has released CS-Converter which can convert RCS, CVS, Subversion and VSS over to TFVC.
This is a good thing, although alot depends on what impact this has on our automated builds. Changing source control has a lot of flow on effects and you don’t necessarily want to do it mid-project if you have a non-trival code structure (note some large projects still have a trivial code structure).
