On the 25th of October I will be flying down to Hobart to present a session on Visual Studio Team System at the Hobart .NET User Group. I am really looking forward to it, last time I attended a user group meeting down there it was such a great atmosphere.

The session is going to go for about three hours and I’m going to get through as much of the product as I can in that time. I’ll walk through a scenario of envisioning an application, creating a team project, building end-user scenarios and setting quality of service requirements.

I’ll then divy up the tasks (and assign them to myself) and start implementing the application, all the while showing off some of the neat new source code control features in Team Foundation Server. Of course, no software project would be complete without some bugs and resolutions so we will look at the testing tools too to see how they can be put to work.

The HDNUG site should be updated soon, so check there for all the details.
