Wes posted up a piece about the new Office 12 user interface and provided a link to these screenshots (yeah, I know – you can get them on every street corner now).
As a fairly heavy Microsoft Outlook user I wanted to see what was being done to address some of the features that I wanted to have added to the overall product sweet around integration of OneNote and InfoPath into the messaging client. Unfortunately these pictures don’t reveal much – so I am going to have to keep looking.
Overall though – I do like where they are going with the look and feel of the product, they are going to be much more engaging and it pushes the powerful features right up into the end users face instead of hiding them behind a 32 x 32 pixel icon.
I think Readify will be dogfooding this stuff pretty soon . . .
