I’m sitting in a cafe on Collins Street typing this blog entry. I have a wireless broadband connection but there isn’t a hotspot in sight. I’m using iBurst wireless technology and so far its working great, I’ve been iBurstable in the following locations:

  • Canberra Airport (in the lounge near the driveway).
  • Melbourne Airport (on the bus in the driveway).
  • City Link (on the bus on the way to Spencer Street).
  • Holiday Inn (on Spencer Street).
  • Sparkling Cafe (on Collins Street).
  • Client Site (on Collins Street).

I think its fair to say that I’m a bit of a fan! Its almost getting to the point now where I will never be able to say I can’t get a connection to the Internet. The notable exception is this weekend when I will be in my home town in Queensland and my folks place isn’t on the ADSL grid. Back to dial-up – yuck!
