This is outrageous. Its a story of David Cox who had checked his luggage at Sydney Airport which contained a camel suit (presumably he is some kind of performer). While at the gate Mr. Cox spotted a bag handler wearing the head from the suit whilst being driven around the tarmac at the airport.

As a frequent traveller on Qantas I’m a little bit concerned that one of their staff would do this and it adds makes Schapelle Corby’s defence against smuggling charges look much more plausible.

Amazingly, this article indicates that the Transport Workers Union though that it was a “goofy prank” or a “typically Australian joke” that just got out of hand.

Thats just wrong. The Australian sense of humour is about laughing WITH people, not laughing AT them, this stunt makes David Cox a victim of a joke. Now – if the hander and brought the suit from home then THAT would have been funny.

I’m glad he’s been fired.
