Darren Neimke has just posted up about the new version of Project Distributor he is in the process of releasing. If you haven’t checked it out I recommend you do. The live site is here, which is where the sources will be posted.
The idea behind Project Distributor is that it is an easy to use repository for releasing software products both inside and outside your organisation. One of the things about running a development team inside a large company is that its hard to know what other teams are producing that could be useful to you.
If everyone wrote to a central project distributor and the team members used the updated RSS feature it would be easy to push that information out.
