I read this post by Darren Neimke about how he is now using Google Reader to aggregate RSS feeds. He combines this with a Google Reader part on the personalised Google homepage. I don’t know if the personalised homepage is for me, but I did play around with the actual Google Reader interface a little bit and noticed one little usability hack they made (assuming it was deliberate).

Its a tiny feature, but very important. Basically, as you are paging through the items in a feed you can keep your mouse cursor in one location and just click. Rather than you moving down the list, the item list moves underneath your cursor.
